Welcome to the home of James Monarch Studios! Our site for video, music, print, and platform-independent projects. Some of these are ideas take this site as their starting or endpoints – stories will grow out from here and often come back. The first set of ideas are the Tokyo Phase Five prints in our shop – this has been an epic journey of working with a great set of collaborators including Don Parker over at donparker.co.uk, over twenty five years of film, music and television experience put into neo-noir works inspired by films like Blade Runner. We wanted a series that mixed it up a little, to be more a part of a universe, to take ideas from film, music, and graphic design and make something new.
